It was our 50th wedding anniversary & we took our whole family, our children, their spouses & our grandchildren, 20 strong, on safari at Umkumbe Bush Lodge, Sabi Sands & then for 5 days in the Western Cape. In the Cape we stayed at Lyonesse House in Constantia, a fabulous property for a big group. It was all arranged by Denise of East Cape Tours. African safari trip

We traveled up from Capetown to Kruger National Wildlife Preserve to stay at Umkumbe Bush Lodge. Our travel consultant was Jacqueline Ebenau. She helped with our flights. She found the safari lodge that was perfect for us. She responded to all our questions. She helped us when there was a weather situation that was potentially changing our arrival date. My trip was planned by Denise and Colin. First of all they took into account that I’ve already booked something in 2020 (than Covid came) – perfect!

I wished that they plan only few things and not the overall trip and they showed a lot of flexibility in the planning to make it tailor-made for me. Overall they invested a lot of time and I never got the impression, that they didn’t want to! In my opinion prices where also very fair.

Places and drivers where very nice and the most important: As I once had a problem with an extra-booking with an external provider (where East Cape Tours didn’t do anything wrong), they where very reactive also in the evening to sort the problem out.

Would recommend to anyone to plan a trip with East Cape Tours!

Shamwari Sindile safari

We decided to visit Shamwari camp for a third time and contacted East Cape Tours to book this for us. They had arranged tours for us and other members of our family previously so we can highly recommend them. Colin was very helpful initially and then passed everything to Stephanie to arrange accommodation and return transfers to the camp. Their driver who met us at the airport was very informative about PE and the whole area on our journey to Shamwari Sindile. We found Stephanie and East Cape Tours very helpful and highly professional throughout.
